My urticaria started around 27 years ago and only disappeared recently. For many years, I suffered from a combination of chronic idiopathic urticaria, delayed pressure urticaria, dermographism, angioedema, and episodes with anaphylactic symptoms.
During those years, I consulted many doctors and relied heavily on antihistamines and corticosteroids, but without lasting improvement. My daily life became extremely limited. I could not tolerate heat properly, I could not wear boots comfortably, and emotionally it became an exhausting and hopeless experience.
At some point, I decided to search online for other people living with chronic urticaria and joined several Facebook groups. That is where I came across Luís and the information he shared with people struggling with similar conditions.
After speaking with him, I began learning more about chronic urticaria from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. He guided me throughout the process and helped me better understand the possible mechanisms involved in my condition.
After several months, my symptoms gradually became less intense and less frequent until they eventually disappeared completely.
Today, I feel like I have my life back again, and I remain deeply grateful for all the guidance and support I received throughout that journey.
