These are some of the questions I have been most frequently asked since 2014, when I started sharing my opinions with people suffering from urticaria/hives.
Are you a conventional medicine doctor?
NO.
Are you a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner?
Not when I started helping people, but YES since the beginning of 2022.
Who are you, after all, and what do you do?
I’m self-taught. I’m a former cholinergic urticaria patient who suffered for 3 years. I decided not to accept taking antihistamines and/or corticosteroids indefinitely, nor giving up activities like music, martial arts, going to the beach, and living my life normally.
Then I decided to study everything I could find, both in conventional and Chinese medicine, in order to help people not suffer what I suffered and to contribute to a better world.
I completed a course in Diagnosis by Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2022, mainly to obtain formal certification.
Can urticaria be resolved?
Urticaria is not a disease, but a symptom, and YES, it can be resolved.
Did you ever get paid by the people you helped?
NOT until 2022.
Before obtaining my diploma, I never asked for or accepted a dime. Eventually, I reached a point where it was no longer possible to continue helping so many people for free because I am also a human being and have bills to pay.
The huge number of people asking for help was preventing me from earning a living.
In 2021, I decided to stop consultations and focus on writing a book and creating a YouTube channel. However, people did not accept that and asked me to continue helping while accepting payment.
At that point, I agreed, but before officially starting, I completed a Traditional Chinese Medicine course. This allowed me to start getting paid legally.
Are you totally recovered and able to do all your previous activities?
100% YES.
Is there a chance that some people cannot resolve their urticaria?
YES, because some patients do not implement, or cannot implement, the changes required.
Can you guarantee you will never have urticaria again?
NO.
I cannot guarantee that because I do not control the world. However, I can say it is now much more difficult for me to lose my internal balance.
Are you against antihistamines, corticosteroids, immunobiologicals and immunosupressants?
YES I AM, but antihistamines can play an important role in certain situations.
Are you against conventional medicine and doctors?
OF COURSE NOT. I also use it.
Is it impossible for conventional medicine to resolve urticaria?
NO.
For example, if urticaria is caused by an infectious disease such as hepatitis C, eliminating the virus may resolve the condition and the urticaria disappears.
Is what you do legal?
YES.
I give people my opinion based on personal experience and study.
There is no law that makes giving an opinion a crime.
Since 2022, I also have formal training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which allows me to diagnose and guide patients legally.
