1 Year and a Half Suffering from Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria · Case Closed in 2014

“At one point, my condition had become so severe that I ended up twice in the emergency room with anaphylactic reactions and glottis edema.”

I would like to share my testimony to help other people struggling with chronic urticaria and angioedema as I once did. In 2013, I was diagnosed with chronic spontaneous urticaria associated with angioedema and dermographism. During that period, I experienced daily flare-ups and severe reactions that deeply affected my quality of life.

Because of the prolonged use of corticosteroids, I gained approximately 66 lbs and physically and emotionally reached a very difficult point in my life.

In 2014, I met Luís Monteiro through a Facebook support group dedicated to urticaria and hives. Following his guidance, based on the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I gradually introduced major changes involving emotional guidance, dietary adjustments and complementary treatment approaches.

After many months of daily crises, I progressively started noticing major improvements in both my health and my urticaria symptoms. Over time, the reactions became weaker and less frequent until I eventually regained stability and quality of life.

Following his guidance also helped me gradually lose the weight gained during the years of corticosteroid use.

Today, I feel deeply grateful for all the support, dedication and knowledge shared throughout that journey.
