Yuri Rosário — Portugal — Cholinergic Urticaria ( 2 Years )

My urticaria symptoms began in 2022 during a period marked by emotional pressure, family conflict, loss, and significant personal challenges.

Before developing urticaria, I had already experienced years of emotional instability, family difficulties, and situations that left a deep emotional impact. Over time, these experiences accumulated and gradually affected both my emotional wellbeing and my physical health.

As the condition progressed, heat, physical exertion, and emotional stress became increasingly difficult to manage. Like many people living with cholinergic urticaria, I found myself constantly adapting my life around symptoms and worrying about situations that most people would consider normal.

When I started treatment with Luis Monteiro, I followed a Traditional Chinese Medicine program that included emotional guidance, diet, Chinese phytotherapy, and acupuncture.

One of the most important parts of the treatment was learning how to understand and express emotions in a healthier way. Throughout the process, I began developing a different relationship with stress, frustration, and life’s challenges.

As treatment progressed, my symptoms steadily improved and my confidence gradually returned.

The symptoms disappeared completely and Luis closed my case.

Today I have the freedom to live my life the way I want.

I can do the things I truly enjoy, make plans for the future, and live without constantly worrying about urticaria.

One of the biggest changes after recovery was being able to focus on my physical health again. After my case was closed, I committed myself to training and rebuilding my fitness. After nine months of consistent training, I felt stronger, healthier, and more energetic than I had in years.

Today I have more energy, more confidence, and more joy in my daily life.

Looking back, I will always be grateful to Luis Monteiro for everything he did for me throughout this journey. His guidance helped me regain not only my health, but also my freedom and quality of life.

To everyone still going through treatment, stay patient and keep moving forward. One day you may find yourself living a life that currently feels impossible.

I know this because I am living it now.
